OPENSTUDY attempts to provide students a framework for the exploration of art, architecture, and design while alleviating the financial and material restraints prevalent in the pursuit of higher education.
Students may select instructors/mentors [listed below] that can provide a number of programs that students may engage with. This can vary from scheduled [digital] workshop sessions where students can work on a number of projects with a small group of peers to more informal one-on-one critiques through email, video conference, etc. Sign up for a workshop here.
A series of projects - posed as a question, an instruction, or an activity - will be presented twice a month on this website; along with additional resources that students may approach in their own free time. These projects do not have a “correct” answer; they are ways to explore various subjects through a creative practice. Students are encouraged to reach out to our instructors/mentors for any questions they may have on these projects.
The instructors/mentors provided below are open to either workshop or passive study inquiries - but may also be reached out to for questions regarding anything related to the pursuit of an arts/architecture/design education. Please make sure to read their full artist descriptions before contacting - as some instructors/mentors are more versed in some subjects than others. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more. Sign up for a mentor here.
